RFID Security System for Guard Tours
RFID Security System for Guard Tours. End to End solution for fast implementation of RTLS guard tour systems.
The need for RTLS tracking of a guard tour system is essential for improving productivity, motivating compliance, ensuring safety and verifying patrols are carried out. Conventional guard tour systems only analyze the data after-the-fact, when data gathered from check point updates on a guard’s device is downloaded to a central computer.
RFID tag systems enable a wide range of real-time security and asset protection and tracking applications. A single, unified RFID security system offers a compelling solution for monitoring and tracking guard personnel for all types of facilities and terrain, such as museums, power plants, hospitals, schools, border patrols, defense compounds and more.
Until now, putting this technology to work in the field required significant man-hours of coding and development – at prohibitive costs. In addition, closed, proprietary systems limit flexibility to deploy additional applications, such as video surveillance, safety systems at entrances or emergency alarms in a single platform, as well as the flexibility to use the most suitable RFID technologies and communications infrastructure. The Vizbee RFID security system software solution makes all this and more possible, and offers an accessible cost-effective RFID tag solution for monitoring and tracking guard duty patrols.
Manage your Guard Tour Patrol System
The Vizbee expert Guard Patrol System monitors and confirms the presence and location of guards and guard activity in real-time. Each guard in the RFID security system is assigned an RFID tag, with its own ID. Readers along the route record tag numbers with time stamps, and are processed for verification. The RFID security system software requires no card swiping or check points – the RFID tag can simply be placed in a pocket. The RFID tags can also include special sensors to detect attack, or generate alarms and alerts for follow-up action and decision-making. By being able to see at any moment in time where all guards are located, the Vizbee platform enables a proactive response to security failures and prevention rather than after-the-fact analysis. Security policy can be programmed for each location, detailing frequency for guard passes for different time zones, such as daylight, night, weekends, and more, triggering alarms upon deviation from policy. The RFID security system automatically calculates the minimum number of guards needed in order to execute all programmed guard tours, and can switch to the optimal downgraded mode when needed. In addition, the RFID security system changes a route or order to address urgent events, automatically disregarding irregular implications resulting from changes to preprogrammed data.
- Isolated guard protection Built-in sensors detect isolated guard tour workers' loss of verticality
- Alert Rules Generates alerts on the absence or non-movement of guards. Optional panic buttons. Alert rules are easily programmed according to tour schedules.
- Seamless Integration with Existing Security Systems Integrate with existing security systems, such as video surveillance, sensors, alarms, and pagers.
- Weatherproof and Maintenance-Free Requires no line of sight, light, and is impervious to rain, fog, haze. Maintenance-free five-year batteries.
- Reports Activity reports by period, guard or location
